Find your profile by entering your last name in the "Search" box. If nothing comes up, use "Add your profile".

If you are female, click "Female" and a box for "Maiden Name" will appear. Set your last name to be your current name, and put your maiden name in the "Maiden Name" blank.

If you are male and changed your name, email ahs70.50reunion@gmail.com and we can fix the situation.

It is best if you use the first part of your email as your username. That way, if you forget it, we can remind you how to find your profile.

Please consider adding a picture of yourself today. We are working to add pictures of you from the AHS 70 Yearbook.

Marital status: Single again
Children: 1
Occupation: IT Management
My story since HS: It's been an interesting 50 years. I've come a long way from 214's IBM 1401.

High points:

14 years as CTO for the Midwest (Chicago) Stock Exchange. We wrote the world's first fully automated trading system in 1981, then marketed it to expanding markets world-wide. I'm fluent in Thai, where we did our software development for many years, and I've worked with many exchanges from Amsterdam to Asia to Johannesburg.

While all this was going on, I found time to manage the telecommunications build-out for 440 S. LaSalle, our 40-story high rise, starting with an open shell, no exterior.

I left CHX in 1997 when the new management decided to return to being just a traditional exchange. They went out of business a couple years ago and had lost their core business in the early 2000's so I guess they made a bad call...

I connected with IBM, and was the Chief Architect (CTO) for their business modernization team until I "retired" in 2016. Now I run a small consulting shop handling niche market migration of legacy systems for their customer base. Eventually I will actually retire and die off.

My son (Eric, 1994) is married and working in Deerfield.

Home is Texas since I left CHX. I love the weather (most of the time), the boating, hiking, caving, and culture. I hold a commercial pilot certificate, and have flown virtually everywhere east of the Rockies, and a few spots around Redlands Ca.

Thankful for the educational and leadership opportunities AHS provided to us as students. Opened the world for me.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion!

Spouse/Significant Other: Kevin Lee
My story since HS: After AHS, I graduated with a BS in Education from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, MS in Education from Western Oregon University, and a Doctorate from Oregon State University and University of Oregon in Cognitive Psychology, Educational Administration, and Curriculum & Instruction. Enjoyed an exciting 40-year career as an educator from teaching kindergarten through graduate students, administrator, and special programs director. A highlight was teaching at the French bi-lingual United Nations School in Geneva, Switzerland in the 1970’s, and working with Jean Piaget.

While in Minnesota met Kevin Lee and married after returning from Switzerland and him finishing his PhD at the University of Oregon. We have 2 children. Son is a captain on the 737 for Delta Airlines and daughter is a Sports Physical Therapist.

Living in Corvallis, Oregon for over 45 years, we love spending time at other home in Bend and on the Oregon coast. I continue to volunteer extensively for Alpha Xi Delta sorority where I served on the National Council, Foundation, and National Housing Corporation. I endowed the Dr. Marianne Clausing-Lee Scholarship through the sorority Foundation. Also currently serve on the boards for the Corvallis-OSU Symphony Society and Assistance League of Corvallis.

My sense of adventure and curiosity has taken me (and our family) to over 200 countries on all seven continents. A few exceptional trips were to Palau, Namibia, Easter Island, Egypt, Chile, and Antarctica (National Geographic). Definitely love getting on a plane to go anywhere!
