My story since HS:
Dan Kiley, author of the 1983 book, The Peter Pan Syndrome, was responsible for my divorce from Steve. We married about a month after graduation, and 13 years and two children later, I realized that I was tired of being Wendy. In 1986, i married Tim, an engineer from Minnesota. It took quite a long time, and two more children, but I earned a BS and MS in Environmental Horticulture from the U of MN. Among other jobs, I taught for 3 years at Lino Lakes Correctional Facility. In 2009, with children all grown, we moved to Denver. We are back in MN now, family first, but kept our downtown Denver condo as a second home. |
