Find your profile by entering your last name in the "Search" box. If nothing comes up, use "Add your profile".

If you are female, click "Female" and a box for "Maiden Name" will appear. Set your last name to be your current name, and put your maiden name in the "Maiden Name" blank.

If you are male and changed your name, email ahs70.50reunion@gmail.com and we can fix the situation.

It is best if you use the first part of your email as your username. That way, if you forget it, we can remind you how to find your profile.

Please consider adding a picture of yourself today. We are working to add pictures of you from the AHS 70 Yearbook.

Marital status: Married
Children: 1
Occupation: Retired teacher
Comment: While it would be fun to reconnect with AHS classmates, I am not able to travel at this time due to the heightened Covid outbreaks. Enjoy the gathering. I have many good memories of times spent at Arlington High School... the classes, the sporting events, the activites and clubs, but most importanly the people, both teachers and students.
Spouse/Significant Other: Kevin
My story since HS: I graduated from Elmhurst College and began teaching third grade at Rhodes School in River Grove, Illinois. I met my husband, Kevin, in 1976 and we were married in 1978. Kevin was transferred to Newtown, Connecticut in 1981. We lived there for 3 years. Our daughter Sarah was born there in 1982. We moved back to Arlington Heights, IL in 1984. I worked as a pre-school teacher for 5 years, then taught kindergarten in Barrington, IL and later second grade in Lincolnshire, IL. We moved to Kildeer, IL in 1994. I worked as a reading assistant for 10 years in Buffalo Grove at Ivy Hall School.

Our daughter lived in NYC for many years after graduating from UVA so we spent many weekends in the Big Apple. Sarah was married in 2016 and she and her husband and 2 sons have just moved to Atlanta, GA (much closer for visits since

Kevin was transferred to Savannah, GA in 2009). Kevin and I are both retired now and enjoy golfing, biking, traveling and reading. Until Covid hit I volunteered in a kindergarten class once a week, delivered meals to shut-ins once a month and visited a nursing home once a month to sing with the residents. Hopefully, I will be able to return to those activities one day soon.

I still keep in touch with Pat Givens and Trisha Dean (A "Patricia Ann" club) and just recently Irene Porowski has moved with her husband to our neighborhood (The Landings on Skidaway Island) just outside of Savannah. We have really enjoyed the warmer weather and southern lifestyle.
Number of grandchildren: 2, Ethan (3 yrs) and Colin (1 yr).
