My story since HS:
After graduation, attended one year at Northeast Missouri State College. Married fellow classmate, Kevin Koeneman (AHS-1970). Stayed in Illinois living in Rolling Meadows, Union, Barrington and Palatine. While raising our three children; Josh, Shane & Amber, worked various positions in the Hotel and Restaurant/Banquet Industry. Went back to college to complete my degree in Early Childhood Education. Divorced in 1998. Taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for over 25 years for Palatine Park District, the North Suburban YMCA, and a private Learning Center. Also worked a couple of years in Retail Management, but I missed my students so I went back to teaching. During the summers,I was a Supervisor & Director of several Day Camps. Love the outdoors! Retired in 2018. Bought a cozy house in Crystal Lake to be closer to my children and grandchildren. Live only a couple of blocks from the lake, so if course had to buy an 18 ft. Bayliner Boat for the family! Enjoy boating, fishing, reading, traveling (mainly to Hawaii) and my amazing grandchildren! |
