My story since HS: I taught Middle School math for 33 years in LakeZurich and retired early.

I also coached 7th & 8th grade basketball for ten years. Unable to make a connection with a woman I have remained single. While teaching in Lake Zurich I was fortunate to chaperone 8th graders student trips to Germany with a colleague of mine. Over 25 trips!

I have spent many years being detective and researching my family genealogy of German descent. I have also enjoyed country dancing the past 30 years. During the past ten years in retirement I have spent most of my time volunteering with a outdoor conservation group in Barrington. We restore overgrown ares back to their original native environment. All in all I have had a great career in teaching and found a new passion with conservation work.

Comment: Looking forward to our +1 reunion. It's great reconnecting with people from our AHS days. Also, there is a small group of us (about 7) that started together in kindergarten at Dryden and I am hoping to see as many of them as possible. After all these years, I find that my closest relationships were the ones built during High School Days.

My story since HS: Graduated as a dental hygienist in 1973. Cleaned teeth for 3 years before becoming a flight attendant for United Airlines in 1976. I married in 1982 and have 2 sons. We moved from Palatine to Seattle in 1985 and have loved the Pacific Northwest from day one. Been enjoying retirement since 2012.

My story since HS: In 1976, I married Mary Deger (Class of 1971) and we moved to California, just south of San Francisco. In 1977, I started a general contracting company still in operation after 43 years. True to her peers\' recognition in high school, my wife raised our three boys to be feminist-minded men. All three came to work with me at one time, but are really artists in spirit. Mary remains busy with her own psychotherapy practice. We return to Chicago regularly to visit Mary\'s 90 year old mother.
