If you are female, click "Female" and a box for "Maiden Name" will appear. Set your last name to be your current name, and put your maiden name in the "Maiden Name" blank.

| My story since HS: I graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton WI and then earned an MA from Northwestern. I worked for four years as a counselor and coach at Sacred Heart of Mary High School before moving to Streamwood High School for 16 years. Along the way I earned an administrative certificate and became Assistant Principal for Student Services at Buffalo Grove High School, also in District 214, for 15 years. I earned a Ph.D. at Loyola in 2000 and retired from BG in 2010. I have since been an adjunct professor at Concordia and National Louis. A hobby I was passionate about was running and triathlon. I have done about 30 marathons including 6 Bostons and over 100 triathlons including Ironman Hawaii, Japan, Canada, and Lake Placid. I married late in life and my husband and I adopted a daughter, Rui, from China. She is a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School and is a senior at Loyola studying nursing. | |
