David W. Grandt, 55, of Hoffman Estates, Retired Lieutenant of the Schaumburg Fire Department, died suddenly Aug. 2, 2007 as a result of a motorcycle accident. David is the beloved husband of Christine, nee Grauel; loving father of Scott and Todd Grandt; dear son of Roger and Geraldine Grandt; fond brother of Craig (Debbie) Grandt and Tracey (George) Surprenant; uncle of many.
